Since 1977, the Pediatric Research Foundation has been giving hope to sick children and their families. When there are no answers and the disease seems hopeless, research opens the door to solutions. And that’s what the Pediatric Research Foundation is all about. In addition to funding excellence-based research, the Foundation accompanies young patients throughout their lives, making sure they have access to the latest advances in pediatric research.

Founded in 2000, Proche Aidance Québec brings together 124 community organizations that support more than 41,000 caregivers throughout Quebec. The mission of these organizations is to improve the living conditions of caregivers by alleviating the impoverishment and exhaustion they experience due to the illness, aging and/or disability of a loved one, be it a spouse, friend, sister or child. They offer counseling, psychosocial support and respite.

PHA Canada is a federally registered charity established in 2008 by patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to work together to better the lives of Canadians affected by pulmonary hypertension and represent a united national PH community.

For over 25 years, we have been committed to defending the interests and well-being of people affected by breast cancer and their loved ones. Our contribution is especially noteworthy in the area of medical and scientific advances. We invest in innovation and cutting-edge research and in patient-support programs, ranging from prevention to cure.

The Quebec Cancer Coalition is a group of more than 60 non-profit organizations representing all cancer types and all regions of Quebec, which aims to improve the health care system in Quebec for the good of those affected by cancer. In particular, we defend the rights and interests of patients, survivors and caregivers. Our mission is to be a leading advocate for people affected by cancer in order to improve the health care system in cancer in Québec. Since 2001, our members share our vision for a healthier Quebec, centered on patients, survivors and caregivers.

The Quebec Lung Association has existed for 135 years and has been known by many names over the years (Provincial Tuberculosis Defense Committee, Christmas Stamp Society). The mission of the Quebec Lung Association is to educate, promote respiratory health, prevent lung disease and provide rehabilitation. It also provides services to people with the disease, accompanying their loved ones and supporting research.

The Quebec Sickle Cell Disease Association is a social action and family education organization. We are the leader in the quest to improve the health of children with this disease. We seek to help improve the quality of life of families grappling with this heavy responsibility.

The Regroupement Québécois des Maladies Orphelines (RQMO), whose foundation was announced on International Rare Disease Day in 2010, brings together rare disease associations, individuals or family members of individuals living with a rare disease and other people interested in the cause of rare diseases.

The RAANM is a regional non-profit organization founded in 1992 that contributes to the improvement of the living conditions of family caregivers, i.e. those who provide support and care to a family member, friend or neighbor (father, mother, spouse, etc.). The mission of the RAANM is to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of caregivers.

Save Your Skin Foundation (SYSF) is a national patient-led not-for-profit group dedicated to the fight against non-melanoma skin cancers, melanoma and ocular melanoma through nationwide education, advocacy, and awareness initiatives. Save Your Skin Foundation is committed to playing an active role in reducing the incidence of skin cancer in Canada, and to providing compassionate support for all Canadians living with skin cancers.

Since its inception in 1989, Scleroderma Quebec has become the leading source of French-language public information on scleroderma and support for scleroderma patients in Canada. A leader in funding cutting-edge scleroderma research, Scleroderma Quebec has contributed to date nearly $3 million in research support.
