Thanks to the involvement of many dedicated volunteers from the region, the organization was founded by people from our community. For local people, by local people. Our mission: To provide cancer patients and their caregivers with a living environment, a network of support and action, and activities to help them take charge of their lives and improve their physical and psychological quality of life.

Hope & Cope helps people cope with cancer. Guided by professional staff, cancer-experienced volunteers provide psychosocial support and practical resources that help patients regain a sense of control and well-being, reduce isolation and restore hope. Easily accessible and open to all, Hope & Cope is funded by the community and is located at the Jewish General Hospital's Segal Cancer Centre and the Hope & Cope Cancer Wellness Centre.

For 40 years, Leucan has been committed to helping cancer-stricken children and their families. In addition to its support to clinical research, the Association provides specific and personalized services to its families: emotional assistance and support, financial assistance, referral services, massage therapy, hosting and support in hospital's playrooms, sociorecreational activities, an awareness and assistance program in school, end-of-life and bereavement follow-up, as well as the Leucan Information Centre.

Lung Cancer Canada is a registered national charity that serves as Canada's leading resource for lung cancer education, patient support, research and advocacy. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Lung Cancer Canada has a wide reach that includes both regional and pan-Canadian initiatives. Lung Cancer Canada is a member of the Global Lung Cancer Coalition and is the only organization in Canada focused exclusively on lung cancer.

Lymphoma Canada is wholly Canadian.  All of our resources are derived from Canadian statistics and feature only Canadian specific information. All of our materials are reviewed and approved by our Scientific Advisory Board comprised of Canadian researchers and clinicians. All members of our Board of Directors reside in Canada and Lymphoma Canada funds only Canadian researchers.
